The MPO has a Public Participation Plan or PPP to inform interested citizens and stakeholders about opportunities to be involved in shaping regional transportation plans and programs. The current PPP was adopted in 2007 and refreshed in 2017. A major updated is scheduled to be adopted in June 2019.

Attend a Meeting!
The Technical Coordinating Committee and Transportation Policy Board of the Nashville Area MPO meet regularly. Citizens, advocacy groups, businesses and others are welcome to attend - time for public comment is included on every agenda.
In addition, The MPO holds community meetings as part of regional planning studies, and peridocially convenes area stakeholders on topics related to regional growth, transit, and more. For details on when & where we'll be next, check out our Calendar of Events.

The MPO is a regular presenter to neighborhood associations, chambers of commerce, civic clubs and organizations, non-profit boards, local legislative bodies, planning commissions, and regional and national conferences.
